This post is part of our “10 Questions” series, where we help you get to know our amazing staff a little better and find out they’re (fairly) normal people.

Smile Paul, you’re on camera!

1. What do you do here at Carman Ford?
I’m a Sales Consultant here at Carman Ford, and it will be 4 years this coming this month! We basically show cars and have fun. People say we’re salesmen but we’re not, we’re consultants.

2. What’s your goal when someone walks into those doors?
To get a customer’s wants and needs in place and try to figure out what works for the customer. And then try to tie them to something that would be what they would enjoy driving!

Discussing a new truck, or Edwin’s walk-off? You be the judge.

3. Where was your first job?
I was a merchandiser at a place called Howie’s Drugstore.
What exactly does a merchandiser do.
Stock shelves. It’s a fancy work for stock boy and bag boy.

4. If you could have an exotic pet, what would you want?
Oh boy. I would say a lion. They’re majestic, they’re big and they’re really cool.
You’d have a hard time feeding that thing.
You said I could own an exotic pet, so hopefully I have the means to take care of it and house it and everything else.

5. What have you alway wanted to do in life, but couldn’t do it?
I would love to watch a baseball game at every ballpark in North America. There’s so much history in baseball and, let’s face it, the Wrigley Fields and the Fenway Parks and some other parks I would love to go visit just because of the nostalgia and just what they are. Plus there’s a lot of ballparks, and you could experience all of North America, all the different cultures, it would be a fun ride.

6. Describe to me your perfect pizza.
It would be a pepperoni and mushroom, with a good tomato sauce. Thin crust. But I would want some hot bell peppers and jalapeños on it. Something I don’t get because my wife doesn’t like spicy food.

7. If you could have witnessed one event that has happened throughout history, what would it be?
I would have loved to see The Beatles perform at the Cavern Club. To see The Beatles in general, but to see them when they were first starting, that would be so iconic. That or their final live performance on top of Abbey Road Studios. Seeing their last live performance as a group would have ben something else. As you can tell, I’m a big Beatles fan.

How cool would this be!?

8. What’s the strangest thing that you’ve ever eaten?
I don’t think I’ve eaten anything “weird.” Like I’ve had moose and elk, but that’s not weird I guess that’s just game. I’ve had frog legs once before, so I guess they’re the most “unique” thing I’ve eaten? Tasted a bit like chicken.

9. What was the last thing you bought for yourself, just because.
A Viking’s jersey.
Anyone on the back?
Yeah, I’ve got Stefon Diggs. Big Vikings fan.

Minnesota wide receiver Stefon Diggs races in for 33 yard touchdown reception against Chicago in the third quarter at TCF Bank Stadium on Sunday, December 20, 2015. The Vikings beat the Bears, 38-17. (Pioneer Press: John Autey)

Hey Diggs, if you ever need a new truck, I know a guy…

10. What’s your favourite part about working at Carman Ford?
The team. The biggest team I’ve worked with as far as the tightness, the comradery, and just how everyone cares about everyone’s department. And I can tell you just about every other dealership that’s not always the case. When I finish a sale, eventually they will need to head to service, I never worry about them not taking care of our people. That is something that lets me sleep at night, that everyone here cares as much about one single customer as much as I do.
